Kraken Hunt
Kraken Hunt was made for GMTK Game Jam 2023, themed "Roles Reversed." A kraken has been spotted just off the coast, and the city's economy grinds to a halt as merchants refuse to sail in or out of the harbor. A bounty is issued. Word spreads, and crews ready their vessels to hunt down the kraken. Do our heroes have what it takes to slay the kraken and bring peace of mind back to the city?

Exciting game. The mechanics of the game are simple, but it is enjoyable. I like that the left mouse button can be held! The art and music are also neat, bringing me back to simpler times. The sound design for the waves and cannon is a good choice and does match Kraken's attack and the ship's firing.
Thank you so much! The waves and the cannon were all me with some editing. The splash was chucking a full monster can into some water meshed with slapping my arm with a spatula XD So happy you enjoyed the game and thank you for playing :D
